John Alden is a Shareholder at Luper Neidenthal & Logan. Before partnering with LNL, John was the principal of AldenLaw, a Columbus law firm specializing in transportation, tax, business, corporate and litigation since 1975. He advises numerous clients on business and transportation matters. John’s clients range from local motor coach and motor carrier companies to the largest nationwide carriers, including specialized carriers of all types. He also represents shippers, warehousing companies and freight brokers, including small local operations and national firms. A fast-growing segment of clientele are shippers requesting guidance in the ever-changing transportation and logistics areas, as well as new motor carriers entering into business and existing carriers dealing with safety and hazmat issues. In addition to providing transportation and warehousing counsel, John litigates cases in agencies and courts. He also has achieved beneficial results representing clients in legislation pending before the Ohio State General Assembly. John always keeps his clients’ business needs in mind and works to develop legal strategies to meet those needs.
