BIOGRAPHY

Scott Walker is a Shareholder with Luper Neidenthal & Logan and has been a Columbus litigator since 1998. Scott focuses his practice on complex civil, business and construction litigation, business counseling, and creditor’s rights. Scott’s litigation practice focuses on civil trial work with an emphasis on advising corporate professionals, including owners, members/managers, and shareholders of private and closely held businesses, on a wide range of business and personal disputes. Scott’s practice also includes OVI defense, collections, personal injury, wrongful death, oil & gas, and probate matters.

Scott received his undergraduate degree from Kent State University, Magna Cum Laude, and received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Scott was Articles Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review and won the prestigious Howard L. Oleck Award for Distinguished Legal Writing with his published and peer-reviewed law review article, Chicken Little’s Revenge: Strict Judicial Scrutiny of Scientific Evidence, 41 Clev. St. L. Rev. 717 (1993).  Scott began his legal career as trial counsel in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he handled numerous felony and misdemeanor criminal courts-martial. Before joining Luper Neidenthal & Logan, Scott practiced in the litigation division of two of the largest international law firms. By combining his military and “Big Law” experience, Scott brings a focused and well-rounded perspective to every client matter as a creative problem solver and trusted advisor, while being a results-driven advocate when litigation becomes the only option.
