Henry is a Shareholder with LUPER NEIDENTHAL
& LOGAN. He graduated from
Kenyon College. He began graduate work at Oxford University and completed his Master's
Degree in English at the University of Toronto. He received his Juris Doctor from
the University of Dayton School of Law. Henry specializes in all facets of
real estate law including the buying and selling of commercial, industrial, and
residential real estate. Henry represented the Sellers in the sale of the
Continent in Columbus, Ohio, a $25 million property consisting of multiple commercial
and retail buildings and residential apartments. He has represented commercial and
industrial landlords and tenants in lease negotiations and in litigation arising
out of disputes between commercial and industrial landlords and tenants. He has
also represented contractors and owners in various kinds and sizes of construction
projects, including industrial buildings, retail shopping centers, and residences.
Henry has participated in many kinds of real estate financing projects representing
both lenders and borrowers. Henry represents, among others, Farm Credit Services,
MidState Credit Union, Merchants National Bank, and Wesbanco Bank in actions and
workouts involving borrowers. Henry has represented in foreclosure actions
many institutional lenders whose primary security for its loan is real estate. This
practice for lenders is a statewide practice, and he has appeared in courts on behalf
of lenders in counties throughout the state. He has been a lecturer for the Ohio
State Bar Association in its continuing legal education programs dealing with lenders'
rights and remedies in foreclosure
cases.
Henry is also a licensed title insurance agent for Lawyers Title, Stewart
Title, and First American Title Insurance Company, and manages Paramount Title Agency,
Inc. Henry has worked with property owners who have had environmental issues
with respect to their real estate, such as underground storage tanks and asbestos
abatement.
