06.11.08 Ken Richards will be speaking on bankruptcy issues at a seminar on June 11, 2008. The seminar is entitled " Collection Law from Start to Finish" and is sponsored by the National Business Institute.

05.08.08 On May 8, 2008, David Scott will be making a presentation at the annual meeting of the Meritas organization, an international affiliation of independent law firms with over 6,000 members in over 60 countries worldwide. David is the Chair, and Brigid Heid is a member, of the Meritas Leadership Institute, which developed the presentation to discuss how pro-environment/sustainability trends are creating new legal challenges for businesses and how attorneys can help meet those challenges. The Leadership Institute will also unveil a “Green Guide” outlining steps that law firms can take to adopt more sustainable business practices.

05.01.08 Ken Richards will be speaking at the Bankruptcy Law Institute sponsored by the Columbus Bar Association on May 1, 2008. Ken will be speaking on current developments in bankruptcy law and a case law update.

03.12.08 Brigid Heid will be presenting "Protecting IP in the Employment Relationship" at the Ohio State Bar Association's 2008 Intellectual Property Seminar on March 12, 2008 . Matt Bierlein was instrumental in helping Brigid put together the materials and will be attending the day long seminar.

03.11.08 Ken Richards and Amy Bostic will be speaking on bankruptcy and ethics issues at a seminar titled "Real Property Foreclosure: A Step-by-Step Workshop." The seminar is sponsored by the National Business Institute and it will be held on March 11, 2008.
